Wall of fame: Mayors in Forex®
For the municipality of Wezembeek-Oppem, we handled the production of the “Wall of fame” of Mayors. This is a series of photos of former mayors printed on a lightweight yet sturdy material called Forex®.
- Portrait and an information card of the mayor in question in size 220x315 mm
- Date marking the start of the mayor’s term in a custom size: 67x120 mm
- Name of the mayor in the size 105x60 mm
What is Forex®?
Forex is a lightweight plastic material made of foamed PVC. It has a smooth surface and is widely used in the graphic sector due to its excellent printing capabilities and easy workability.
Advantages of Forex®
- Lightweight and sturdy: Forex is a light material with high rigidity, making it easy to handle and install without compromising on durability.

Disadvantages of Forex®
- Prone to scratching: The soft top layer of Forex makes the material susceptible to scratches, requiring careful handling during transport and installation.
- Limited durability for long-term outdoor use: Although Forex is temporarily weather-resistant, prolonged exposure to varying weather conditions may cause it to warp or discolour, making it less suitable for permanent outdoor applications.
